According to Eli Segall at the Las Vegas Review Journal, two Las Vegas master planned communities were among the top ten nationally for home sales in 2016.
769 new homes were sold in Summerlin and 564 were sold in Inspirada, and increase of 28% and 45% respectively. These numbers resulted in Summerlin being ranked number 5 for sales nationally and Inspirada being ranked number 7 according to real estate consulting firm RCLCO.
Overall 7,035 new homes closed escrow in 2016, a 14.5%increase over the previous year. While these numbers pale in comparison to the pre bubble activity of a decade ago, these are very encouraging trends for the Las Vegas real estate market.
